Challenge
All summer camp session were done online through another system and no effective way of tracking campers, parents, seasons, and sessions for all summer camps across all ESF locations
Needed a solution to organize and report on all data relating to the summer camps and their specific location, session, and type
Marketing was also unable to effectively market to specific groups and campers based on if they had been to a camp in the past, as well as which camp types fit best for them, and how many sessions they've attended in the past
Needed dashboards and reporting in order to visalize trends at the separate camp locations along with any issues at each camp location
Solution
Integrated camp registration system with Salesforce through ETL to push all data into Salesforce and populate on Account, Contact, Opportunity Objects
Created template for all data being loaded into Salesforce through naming standards and structures to ensure all data is clean within Salesforce
Integrated Pardot with their marketing system and used Campaigns to effectively target groups of new and former camps based on data from Salesforce
Created multiple dashboards along with reports for staffers to track and utilize based on camp location, type, session, and season
Result
ESF Summer camps is now able to track Campers and families for their entire lifecycle through ESF summer camps along with their siblings
Clean and unique data flows within Salesforce, which minimizes staffers time needing to manually clean up data or check across multiple systems to confirm it’s correct
Marketing team is now able to market to specific groups and past campers based on the data coming through Pardot and campaigns
Entire staff has access to dashboards and reports that refresh daily to give them the most up to date numbers for specific camp locations along with certain seasons, session, and camp types
